Maha Ashta-Lakshmi Reiki: Awakening the Sacred Abundance Within

You’ve done the journaling. The mantras. The vision boards. The gratitude lists. Even tried ‘letting go’ to manifest abundance, right?

But deep down, maybe you’ve still felt that something’s missing.

The truth is: no matter how bold your dreams are, if your energy isn’t aligned with what you seek, it may feel just out of reach.

And no, it’s not your fault. We were never taught how to truly receive, energetically.

Is this relatable?

It happens to many of us, right? Then I came across Maha Ashta-Lakshmi Reiki, a sacred healing modality created by healer-coach Sanghmitra Chatterjee. In this abundance healing modality, Sanghmitra channels the divine vibrational frequencies of the eight forms of Goddess Lakshmi, collectively known as Ashtalakshmi. Each of the eight Lakshmis represents a specific blessing or aspect of abundance, spanning beyond money to include knowledge, patience, fertility, courage, and more. 

Sanghmitra was hosting a 2-day Masterclass at The Mystic Lotus & Dragonflies Healers' Coaching Summit 2025, and I signed up with curiosity in my heart and a small hope that maybe, just maybe, this would be different.

It was!

Day 1: Drawing the Mandala, Awakening the Energy 

The session opened with a beautiful activity, where participants joined with the 8-Petal mandala, one for each form of Goddess Lakshmi that they had created earlier in the day. There was something about this that felt sacred and intuitive. 

We had each Goddess Lakshmi’s name on a petal, filled the centre with symbols and flowers, and spoke our heartfelt intentions over it. As we meditated on this mandala, Sanghmitra guided us into an energy journey where we visualised the lotus floating before us - each petal glowing, spinning, whispering codes of abundance into our fields. 

It wasn’t just visualisation. It was like remembering something ancient, something we had always carried but had forgotten. The mandala folded inward, blessing us as it dissolved into a golden light at the centre of our beings. Sanghmitra activated in us the ‘Golden Keys of Abundance.’

The 8 Goddesses of Abundance: So Much More Than Money

Until then, many of us had only seen Goddess Lakshmi as the giver of wealth. But that day, Sanghmitra revealed her eight forms - and each one awakened a part of us we didn’t know needed healing.

• Adi Lakshmi reminded us we were enough simply by existing.

• Dhairya Lakshmi calmed our need to rush.

• Dhanya Lakshmi nudged us towards nourishment and vitality.

• Gaja Lakshmi restored forgotten self-respect.

• Santana Lakshmi unlocked our creative flow.

• Vidya Lakshmi cleared the mental fog.

• Dhana Lakshmi addressed our guilt around receiving money.

• Vijaya Lakshmi showed us that true victory lies in overcoming our own limits.

As we absorbed all this, I also witnessed what others were experiencing live on the call.

S had seen Goddess Lakshmi in full royal glory, surrounded by white elephants.

D’s eyes had moistened.

V shared that he had seen a golden-yellow light filling his inner space.

The Treasure Hunt: Finding Lakshmi in the Everyday

Later, Sanghmitra led us through a symbolic Treasure Hunt, asking us to find or imagine an object around us that represented each form of Goddess Lakshmi.

I found a cushion for Adi Lakshmi (support) and a coin for Dhana Lakshmi (wealth). We affirmed powerful mantras for each one, realising that abundance had always been here, in simple, everyday things.

This playful moment made something land deeply in me: Abundance is not somewhere else. It’s right here.

Stories That Stirred My Being

Sanghmitra shared stories from her healing practice that gave me goosebumps. There was one young woman who had come to her after surviving abuse. She was stuck, unable to study, struggling with health issues. Within just three weeks of Maha Ashta-Lakshmi Reiki, she applied for graduation and slowly stepped into confidence. A year later, she was signing up for new courses and raring to go.

Then there was Ms S, who came on LIVE and shared how her faith had helped her receive 3x the amount she had asked for. She was doing Tarot consultations now and had become a light for others.

These weren’t just inspiring stories. They were proof of what happens when healing meets the right frequency.

Day 2: Receiving With Grace, Giving From Overflow

The second day dove into something that we hadn’t expected, but desperately needed - balancing giving and receiving.

Sanghmitra explained how we had been conditioned to believe we must earn love, prove worth, or struggle for success. But that’s not how abundance flows.

“Scarcity isn’t real,” she said. “It’s a mindset, a programme.”

When we give from depletion or receive with guilt, we block the flow. But when we give from overflow and receive with grace, we create true energetic abundance.

Adi Lakshmi Meditation & Mirror Work: A Divine Encounter

Sanghmitra had another powerful meditation lined up-The Adi Lakshmi meditation, to come into a state of balance and assurance.

Sanghmitra led us into Mirror work, where we were asked to look into our own eyes, affirm our inherent worth, and connect with the divine within. Many participants shared profound visions.

• V saw the Goddess and a white swan.

• R became a carefree child again.

• J saw himself surrounded by golden light and red energy.

• A saw herself as a bride. 

Live Healing That Moved Us All

In a brief live healing, Sanghmitra helped A release the heaviness she carried. Tears flowed, and her energy softened. She felt seen and supported.

The Final Activation: Gratitude Meditation for Prosperity

To close the 2-day experience, Sanghmitra took us through a gratitude meditation, where we felt our whole being bathed in grace. And then, a soft wave of Jupiter’s blue light washed over us with cosmic support pouring in. We had become part of a living energy field of giving, receiving, and radiating divine abundance.

The Final Realisation

We had walked into this masterclass curious and left completely transformed.

This wasn’t just a healing technique. It was a Divine remembrance.

Through mandalas, Mirror work, energetic transmissions, and stories that touched the spirit, Maha Ashta-Lakshmi Reiki had awakened something inside us.

We now know:

✨ Abundance isn’t earned. It’s embodied. 

✨ I don’t have to chase blessings. I am the blessing. 

✨The beauty of both giving and receiving with grace.
