A Journey Through Cards, Epics and Ancient Wisdom: My Experience with the Sacred Indian Tarot

A Sacred Indian Tarot Card deck and three Sacred IndianTarot cards
Divine guidance reading with Sacred Indian Tarot

There’s something incredibly special about being part of The Mystic Lotus and Dragonflies team. Every season, we meet amazing experts who carry wisdom in the most grounded, heartwarming ways. But this time, something about the Sacred Indian Tarot stayed with me long after the sessions ended, long after the calls were over.

This experience came through the presence of Vaisshali, our Sacred Indian Tarot expert, who brought her unique blend of intuitive reading and deep knowledge of Indian mythology to Season 7 of The Mystic Lotus Global Awesome! Healers’ Training Summit. I’ve seen many readers before, but there’s a grace with which she connects the cards to India’s sacred stories and that’s what makes the Sacred Indian Tarot so different.

Meeting the Sacred Indian Tarot Expert

On Call 1, Vaisshali took us straight to the heart of this ancient deck by introducing us to the Shri Yantra. I’ve always seen the Shri Yantra as a geometric design used in temples and on altars, but she explained how it’s the spiritual centre of the Sacred Indian Tarot. Listening to her, it no longer felt like just a symbol it became a doorway to inner alignment.

What stood out for me was how the Sacred Indian Tarot isn’t just about predictions. It’s a storybook layered with wisdom from the Mahabharata, Ramayana (Indian epics) and the life journeys of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Vaisshali shared how each card carries these mythological references not in a textbook way, but in a way that speaks directly to our current life situations.

During the demo, something magical happened. One by one, participants started receiving guidance through the cards. The accuracy, clarity and emotional release I saw on their faces were hard to put into words. It felt like the divine was really speaking through the Sacred Indian Tarot. I didn’t get a reading that day, but witnessing others get theirs felt like witnessing prayers being answered.

When the Death Card Shows Up

Call 2 was especially meaningful for me. I’ve always been a little nervous about seeing the "Death" card in any tarot deck, who isn’t? But Vaisshali shifted that perception completely. She explained that in the Sacred Indian Tarot, the death card doesn’t mean physical death. Instead, it shows up when an old pattern or belief is ready to be released. That hit home.

I remember feeling unusually anxious the night before this call. There was a personal habit I’d been trying to let go of—one that no longer served me, yet had its grip on me for years. When she pulled the death card and spoke about renewal and rebirth, I felt as if the message was for me.

A New Moon, Saturn’s Shadow, and Live Learnings

Call 3 happened to fall on a new moon day influenced by Saturn. If you’ve worked with energies, you know Saturn isn’t easy to deal with. It brings responsibility and restriction, it also demands discipline. Vaisshali talked about how Saturn affects the legs quite literally. That connection fascinated me.

She shared a simple yet grounding ritual to ease Saturn’s impact.

But the highlight for many that day including me was watching people learn how to interpret the Sacred Indian Tarot live on the call. It wasn’t just a reading, it became a classroom. Vaisshali patiently explained the meaning behind each card, guiding participants as they read for one another. It was beautiful to see how confident they became in just a few minutes.

Why This Deck Feels Different

I’ve seen many tarot decks, but the Sacred Indian Tarot feels rooted. It doesn’t float in abstract symbols; it stands firm in cultural stories, divine archetypes, and spiritual depth that feels familiar to those of us raised around Indian traditions. Whether it's Arjuna’s dilemma, Draupadi’s resilience or Shiva's meditative calm, these cards hold a mirror to our lives in a very grounded way.

Personally, I feel more connected to my spiritual practice after these calls. It’s not just about picking a card anymore. it's about listening, observing and feeling the stories behind them. It’s also about seeing how these stories are still alive in us.

A Gentle Nudge for You

If you’ve never tried the Sacred Indian Tarot, give it a chance!. Whether you’re new to tarot or a long-time seeker, there’s something about this deck that feels like home. And if you ever get a chance to learn from Vaisshali, don’t think twice. Her way of teaching, guiding and holding space is something that stays with you.

For me, these three calls were more than just learning sessions - they were sacred pauses in a fast-paced life. Moments of reflection, healing and quiet understanding.

And honestly, I can’t wait for the next session.
