Angel Healing

The idea of angel healing has been around for a long time

In England, gold coins called ""Angels"" were used in healing rituals as early as the late mediaeval period around 1470. The monarch would touch and often pierce the coin, then hang it around the person's neck to protect them from disease.

Archangel Raphael

The archangel Raphael is associated with healing and is first mentioned in the Book of Tobit, which is estimated to date from between the 3rd and 2nd century BCE. In later Christian tradition, Raphael is identified as the angel who stirred waters in the Pool of Bethesda (divine healing pool of Jerusalem)

In Sanathana Dharma (Hinduism), Devdoot or angelic messengers are supposed to be the agents sent by God to help or assist their humans on earth in their job or carry out the function ordained by deities for them. They are associated with positivity, blessings, happiness, protection and are treated as the harbinger of peace. Devadūta is to be meditated upon at dawn and before sun-set everyday. (Anuśāsana Parva, Chapter 165, Verse 14). Devadūta is symbolic of Atman (your awoken Self- outside wakeful, dream & sleep) the divine messenger.
